Thursday, March 6, 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, UIN Sunan Kalijaga held an International Seminar Series with the theme "International Seminar Series, Ethical Considerations in Social Sciences and Humanities: Challenges and Best Practices Across Borders". This activity took place with 4 speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Phil. Sabine Brombach as a senior expert service (SES) Germany, Denisa Apriliawati M.Res as the Department of Psychology, Dr. Fatma Dian Pratiwi, M.Si as the Department of Masters in Media and Communication, and Dr. Phil. Ahmad Norma Permata, M.A as the Department of Masters in Sociology and moderated by Durrorul Mas'udah, M.A

The core of this seminar activity is to present the best practice of ethical conduct in Germany, discuss the challenges of implementing formal ethics in Indonesia, and discuss steps that can be taken to create a better ethical climate in Indonesia. This discussion is expected to provide broader insights and concrete steps for academics in implementing better research ethics standards in Indonesia
