MISION
To realize this vision, the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) in Psychology has the following mission:
- Establish a transformative, globally recognized psychology education ecosystem by integrating the richness of Islamic studies with cutting-edge innovations in psychological science.
- Accelerate innovative, high-impact cross-cultural psychological research, with a strategic focus on family resilience, global mental health, and the optimization of human capital.
- Orchestrating international community service programs that are solution-oriented, empathetic, and focused on enhancing universal psychological well-being.
- Building strategic alliances and partnerships with reputable educational institutions, governments, and global organizations to strengthen the presence of the Tridharma of Higher Education on the world stage.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Based on the Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) framework, the objectives of the Internasional Undergraduate Program in Psychology Program are focused on producing graduates with the following qualifications:
- Graduates who critically evaluate foundational psychological knowledge to understand human behavior across various cultures, and who are able to explore the intrapersonal, interpersonal (hablun minan naas), and spiritual (hablun minallah) dimensions in an integrated manner.
- Graduates equipped with basic skills in psychodiagnostics and interventions that meet international standards, and who consistently prioritize therapeutic approaches grounded in integrity and high moral character.
- Graduates who demonstrate deep social sensitivity and methodological rigor. They are skilled at synthesizing mainstream psychological theories with Islamic epistemology to design innovative, technology-driven solutions to address global social challenges.
- Forward-thinking individuals dedicated to the advancement of both pure and applied psychology, who consistently respect the holistic integration of bio-psycho-socio-spiritual elements in their academic and practical endeavors.
- Graduates who formulate independent and well-reasoned professional decisions, strictly adhering to the Code of Ethics for the Psychology Profession, international guidelines, and Islamic moral norms.
- Graduates who excel in cross-cultural and interdisciplinary dialogue, fostering a collaborative model of academic leadership aimed at bringing universal benefit and harmony.
