On June 26-28, 2024, the Industrial and Organizational Psychology Laboratory (Lab. PIO) again held an industrial visit to companies and the Psychology Service. This time the industrial visit was held in Surabaya, precisely at PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka & the Navy Psychology Service. This activity is one of the work programs of the Lab. PIO under the guidance of Mrs. Candra Indraswari, M. Psi., Psychologist. And attended by 31 Psychology students, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, UIN Sunan Kalijaga.

The industrial visit at PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka was warmly welcomed by being shown the work or production environment in the industry, and students were free to ask questions about HR, work culture to increase their insight. This industrial visit provided a very valuable and meaningful experience, especially for networking. So that it motivates participants to be able to get involved and have a competitive spirit in the industrial world.

While the visit to the Navy Psychology Service participants were also warmly welcomed by Colonel (P) Supriyanto, M.Psi., M. Tr. Opsla., CACA., CHRMP., Psychologist. Which was continued with the presentation of material regarding the brief profile of the psychology laboratory of the Bahari Nusantara village to maintain the Republic of Indonesia, not only that, psychology students of FISHUM UIN Sunan Kalijaga were also given insight into the brief history of DISPSIAL (Indonesian Navy Psychology Service) explained by Mr. Lieutenant Colonel Lau (KH) Pamuharsi. And finally explained about the special education observation (OBSDIKSUS) and ended with a question and answer session by students related to the management and training of human resources, the psychological impacts experienced by the Indonesian Navy, and others.

"Psychology in general talks about improving the mental well-being of individuals with favorable circumstances, while psychology in the military talks about how individuals feel prosperous in unfavorable situations".
