Following up on the results of the Colloquium and AP2TPI meeting in Surabaya, the Psychology Study Program of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta held a visit on August 8 & 9, 2024 in preparation as proof of seriousness in holding a Psychology Profession program.According to the latest HIMPSI and AP2TPI regulations, there are several suggestions from UNPAD as the Faculty that previously had a Psychology Profession Program.

To compile a psychology profession program that is in accordance with the regulations of the Indonesian Psychology Association (HIMPSI) and the Association of Indonesian Psychology Higher Education Providers (AP2TPI), here are the steps that must be followed:

1. Understanding Education and Profession Standards

HIMPSI: HIMPSI sets competency, ethics, and certification standards for psychologists in Indonesia.
AP2TPI: AP2TPI provides guidelines on curriculum, lecturers, and evaluation for higher education programs in the field of psychology.

2. Curriculum Planning

Needs Analysis: Review the educational needs and competencies that must be possessed by graduates of the psychology profession program in accordance with the direction of HIMPSI and standards from AP2TPI, for the preparation of FORMS because there is no manual yet, the closest is a health analyst or pharmacist profession as a basis for preparation.
