Yogyakarta, June 23, 2025

The Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, in collaboration with the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Psychology and Social Work, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, proudly presents the 7th series of the Child and Family Psychology Program — the 7th Seminar entitled:

"From the Classroom to Real Life: How Young People See Education Today"

This seminar will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 08:00 to 10:00 AM (WIB), at Seminar Room 2, Faculty of Psychology and Social Work, and will also be broadcast online via Google Meet.

The keynote speaker for this event is Mrs. Ratna Mustika Handayani, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist, a lecturer in Developmental Psychology at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Yogyakarta. In her presentation, she will explore in depth how children and adolescents perceive education in the current era and the challenges they face in applying knowledge from the classroom to real-life situations.

This seminar aims to broaden participants' perspectives—especially students and education practitioners—on the evolving perceptions of the younger generation toward today's education system. Engaging and interactive discussions will add value to the event, providing a platform for participants to exchange ideas and experiences. We hope this seminar offers meaningful contributions to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the fields of educational and developmental psychology.
